Six months into its five-year Lottery-funded ‘Resilient Bude’ project, Bude Climate Partnership is now seeking an external evaluator to help it report the outcomes of its work to its local community, project funders and other stakeholders. The evaluation will help BCP ensure it is meeting its targets and learning from the process.
‘Resilient Bude’ is an innovative programme of six projects designed to help residents and businesses prepare for the impacts of climate change on our community, including work on sustainable tourism, the effect of sea level rise on Bude’s shoreline, energy efficiency and community growing.
The overarching intended outcomes of the ‘Resilient Bude’ project are to increase our community’s knowledge of climate-related issues, improve community resilience to the effects of climate change and work towards reducing our community’s own carbon footprint. The purpose of the evaluation is to measure Bude Climate Partnership’s progress against these key outcomes, working closely with the Partnership over the next four years.
The successful evaluator will create an evaluation programme, to include annual reports and a ‘story of change’, delivered using a range of methods to engage members of community and project stakeholders effectively.
The deadline for tenders is midnight on 28th July, 2023. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an online interview during the week beginning 7th August.
