Meet The Team
Communications & Projects Officer
Cal joined BCP in April 2023, moving just across the Crescent carpark from her previous role at Bude-Stratton Town Council. Cal moved to north Cornwall in 2005 to give her kids an outdoorsy upbringing, and now lives in Stratton with her rather unkempt sprollie called Ramy.
Community Engagement Officer & Sustainable Tourism Assistant
Kate started with BCP in May 2023, moving across from Launceston Town Council where she was the Business, Culture and Engagement Officer. Kate lives in xxxxxxxxxxxx with her two children.
Sustainable Tourism Project Assistant
Will works part-time with Gerri on the Sustainable Tourism Project. He lives in Kilkhampton, and when he's not with us, he spends his time at xxxxxxx
Meet The Team
Rob works with Bude Climate Partnership as Programme Director after leading its bid for Lottery funding last year. He first came to Bude in 1991 and in 2000 moved to Poughill with his Stratton-born partner to bring up their two sons. Rob likes to cycle, garden for wildlife and walk the coast path with his dog when he’s not working on ways to help the wider Bude-area community respond positively to climate change.
Sustainable Tourism Manager
Gerri is BCP's Sustainable Tourism Manager. She spent her childhood coming to North Cornwall on holiday and moved from Scotland to Bude with her family in 2009. Gerri owned and ran Budds Barns holiday cottages in Titson for 13 years, and also worked at the Tourist Board as a visitor assistant. She now lives in Widemouth Bay and enjoys walking her 3 dogs and playing her saxophone.
Low Carbon Energy Advisor
Jon joined the team in xxxx 2023 and works closely with our delivery partner, Community Energy Plus, giving free energy efficiency advice to the community and local businesses.
