What we are looking for

​Bude Climate Partnership is seeking to employ a full-time Communications & Projects Officer to help us deliver an innovative and ground-breaking project program in the wider Bude area.


We’re looking for a talented and creative self-starter with a flair for engaging a diverse range of audiences using social media, our website, email newsletters, films and events.


Your primary role is to manage all our communications and proactively engage with all our communities to promote and inform about our activities.


Your secondary role is to assist the Programme Director where necessary in the successful delivery of our six climate change projects.


You’ll be a friendly team player with excellent interpersonal skills and initiative. You’ll be results orientated, passionate about helping your community, and committed to making a lasting contribution to climate action.


As well as relevant qualifications, or equivalent professional experience, you’ll need to be adaptable, innovative and strategic.


You’ll lead on communications across all our projects, ranging from sustainable tourism and community growing to a project that will help the wider Bude community come together to make crucial decisions about climate adaptation and its responses to sea-level rise.


Working within a team of six, your imaginative and clear messaging with our community, local businesses, visitors and 14 partner organisations, will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of all our projects to the benefit of all our community.


This full-time role, open to flexible working arrangements, has a salary of £30,000 per annum with 3% pension contribution and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
